 Hiking - Western Devil's Path

Devil's Path (Western Section) Red Markers

Devil's Path crosses Highway 214 in Stony Clove from Plateau Mtn. Parking (fee charged) at Devil's Tombstone Campground. Trail crosses dam and enters woods and climbs steeply.

Junction with trail (Yellow Markers) to summit of Hunter Mountain and Fire Tower in 1.7 miles. Devil's Path continues to the left to Devil's Acre lean-to.

Geiger Point - lookout to south and southwest

Junction with Diamond Notch Trail (Blue Markers). Trail to the right leads to Spruceton road in 1.1 miles. Take trail to the left, cross bridge above waterfall. Devil's Path leaves to the right, and along stream. Blue trail continues left to Diamond Notch Lean-to and Lanesville.
