The Catskill Mountain Club is a new association of outdoors-people who love to hike, camp, fish, hunt, canoe, kayak, bike, climb and otherwise enjoy nature and non-motorized outdoor recreational pursuits in the Catskill Mountains.


The Club educates both members and public in outdoor recreational skills; engages in public service and stewardship; and encourages responsible recreational use of the region's natural resources.

The Catskill Center for Conservation
and Development is a member-supported, not-for-profit regional conservation
and advocacy organization serving the six-county Catskill Mountain region
of New York State.

The Catskill Mountain Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation dedicated to arts, culture and educational enhancements in the Northern Catskills

The Catskill Mountainkeeper serves as a strong advocate for the protection and enhancement of the Catskill Mountains. The mission of the Catskill Mountainkeeper is to protect the environmental, recreational and commercial integrity of the Catskill region and to safeguard the air and water quality of the region by creating an activist-based membership. We will monitor development proposals, sources of pollution and sustainable growth projects and to use the Catskill Mountainkeeper website and forums to share information and organize campaigns.

The CWC is a not-for-profit corporation with a dual goal: to protect the water resources of the New York City Watershed west of the Hudson River, while preserving and strengthening communities located in the region.
