From mid-May through mid-October area farmers and artisans gather to share their creativity and bounty at the Pakatakan Farmers’ Market. Located at the historic Round Barn on Route 30 Halcottsville (approximately 5 miles north of Arkville/Margaretville) the market runs Saturdays from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Among the many products featured at the market (depending on the season) are goods that are grown on local, organic and sustainable farms and crate farms. Items offered include: pasture-raised meats, trout, cheeses, breads as well as bedding plants for your garden and patio. Locally made indoor and outdoor furniture is also offered.

We are a small herb business located
on 21 acres of woods, field & wetlands at the eastern edge of the
Catskill Mountains. Our vision is to provide you with the highest quality
herbal products and ecologically harvested, freshly dried herbs. We
organically cultivate or wildcraft all of our herbs, and our products
are made with respect for the plants & healing intent. Quantities
are limited and the available herbs will vary with the seasons. We invite
you to walk lightly with us on the earth.

The Saugerties Farmers Market was established in 2002 to help stem the loss of farmland by addressing the economic needs of farmers and to support the historic village business center of Saugerties.
The market has a wide variety of produce including organic vegetables; luscious orchard fruits and berries; artisan bread; fresh laid eggs; delicious honey, jams & sauces; pasture raised poultry & meat; mushrooms; wine; fresh herbs; field-grown flowers; and tasty regional cheeses; locally roasted coffee; and biscotti, granola, and other baked goods. Products change seasonally. Take home freshly harvested food grown, picked, and brought to market by local farmers.
We invite you to support the farmers that care for the land surrounding New York City's reservoirs. By using sound environmental practices, Catskills Region farmers provide food that is healthy and water that is pure. Buy from a Pure Catskills farmer and contribute to the future of our food system.
